Install it requires no more construction knowledge than what it takes to install wooden shelves or adjustable shelves.
The prefabricated Closet Maid shelving, EDD, however, timber racks do not have. Turn the wire racks, then lip on the front of the shelf facing up and install it on an angle to save shoeboxes, for example. Mark the desired height of the shelf in the closet back wall. Place the carpenter’s level on the mark and lightly draw a line on the wall. Attach wall clips on the marks and install them with the screws provided. Set the shelf in the clip, hold it up and put the carpenter’s level on it.

Remove the rack from the clips. Place the sidewall bracket to match marked and track holes in the brackets on the walls. Drill a pilot hole in the wall where the holes not hit a stud. The pilot hole should match drywall anchor needed to support the bracket. Align the holes in the brackets with anchors and secure them to the walls with screws provided.
